Maya Nozaki (baroque flute), born in Miyagi, Japan. She studied music pedagogy, modern flute and recorder at Musashino Academia Musicae and received bachelor diploma. In 2011 she started studying the baroque flute with Liliko Maeda. A year later she entered Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel to study with Barthold Kuijken and Frank Theuns. She was chosen as soloist for the orchestra project of the conservatory, and performed flute Concerto by Leclair. She received her Master diploma with distinction in 2016. She won at the Osaka International competition and the 3rd prize at the International competition for early music Yamanashi. She participated in the Europe tour with Bach Collegium Japan, and has performed in chamber music ensembles such as Les Agrémens (Belgium) and Musica Alta Ripa (Germany).
